Stàrista Jacobsen Bravo

My name is Stàrista Jacobsen Bravo, and I am a Chilean illustrator, comic artist, creative director, and game producer. I also lead Studio Azul Mori, an indie game development studio that focuses on creating artistic, narrative-driven games that emphasize accessibility, inclusivity, and emotional storytelling.

My professional journey has been diverse, rooted in my Bachelor of Arts in Scenic Design. After graduating, I built a foundation working in theater, film, and TV as a set designer and costume designer, eventually transitioning into creative production and game development. Over the years, I have produced and coordinated a variety of artistic projects, including exhibitions, theater productions, and short films. My role as a producer has honed my skills in project management, team coordination, and ensuring that creative visions are realized efficiently and effectively.

As a freelance illustrator and creative director, I am passionate about blending visual art with storytelling in various forms, from comic books to game art. In addition to my illustration work, I have taken on production management roles, overseeing all aspects of creative projects—from concept to completion. In my studio work, I handle art direction and game design for indie titles, focusing on the seamless integration of narrative and visual design.

My key interests as a producer include:

  • Game Production & Coordination: Managing the development of indie games, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

  • Artistic Direction: Leading teams of artists to create cohesive and visually striking assets for games, comics, and illustrations.

  • Collaborations & Partnerships: Bringing together creative minds to work on projects that push boundaries and explore new storytelling mediums.

  • Creative Project Management: Overseeing all aspects of a project, from planning and budgeting to execution, ensuring that each team member’s vision aligns with the overall creative direction.

What Programs Do I Use?

I work with Clip Studio Paint for digital artwork and also embrace traditional media like watercolor, gouache, ink, and graphite for tactile expressions.
My production work in game development involves tools like concept art software, project management platforms, and game engines to bring creative concepts to life.

I’m always excited to collaborate with new people and embark on new projects that involve fresh ideas and experiences.
